Education for OVCs

Our education program for Orphans and Vulnerable Children (OVCs) has transformed the lives of over 1,200 children across Kenya through comprehensive educational support, psychosocial care, and holistic development initiatives. With an outstanding 98% retention rate, our program ensures that vulnerable children not only access quality education but also complete their studies successfully. We provide school fees, uniforms, learning materials, nutritional support, and counseling services to address the multifaceted challenges faced by OVCs.

Our remarkable achievements include supporting 450 OVCs to complete primary education, with 380 successfully transitioning to secondary school and 120 proceeding to tertiary education or vocational training. We have established 8 learning centers that provide after-school support and remedial classes, while our scholarship program has enabled 200 exceptional students to pursue higher education. Our holistic approach includes life skills training, career guidance, and mentorship programs that prepare OVCs for successful futures beyond the classroom.

The long-term impact of our education program extends beyond individual success stories to community transformation. Many of our graduates have become teachers, healthcare workers, and community leaders who give back to their communities. We have partnered with 30 schools to improve educational infrastructure and teacher training, benefiting over 5,000 students. Our family strengthening initiatives have supported 800 caregivers with income-generating activities and parenting skills, creating stable environments that support children's educational success and overall well-being.
